Role Summary

As the backbone of FMG Leading, our Consultants deliver organizational assessment, transformation, strategic advisory and leader development services that are outcomes-oriented. Consultants help expand FMG Leading’s business through flawless delivery, supporting business development conversations, and building relationships across the complex landscape of the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. CONSULTING DELIVERY

  • Support or direct delivery of client engagements, ranging from strategic advisory to team development to organizational transformation advisory.

  • Collection, synthesis, analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to develop insights and recommendations that drive client solutions. Includes presentation of findings and recommendations in client settings.

  • Design and facilitation of client meetings and events, in partnership with client team.

  • Assurance of quality and client satisfaction.

 

2.       PROJECT LEADERSHIP

  • Organize, maintain, and drive details around client projects; includes developing workplans, managing and leading client calls, tracking project progress against scope, and gathering feedback.

  • Develop materials and presentations for client project delivery.

  • Manage client relationships in partnership with client teammates and other FMG Leading colleagues.

 

3.       FIRM DEVELOPMENT

  • Support existing and new client revenue generation.

  • Contribute to ongoing development/enhancement of FMG Leading solutions.

  • Advance continuous improvement of internal firm systems and efficiencies.

  • Contribute to the FMG Leading community and culture through active involvement with internal forums and communities of practice.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business, Organization Development (OD), I/O Psychology, a related field, or equivalent experience required.

  • Five (5) + years of relevant experience in consulting, leadership development / training, or operational roles, with a strong emphasis on individual contributions and results.

  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills – driven to hold multiple moving parts of complex client systems in place while providing an excellent customer experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances and complex situations with creativity and critical thinking.

  • Able to advance multiple client engagements simultaneously.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, facilitation skills, presence and ability to synthesize data into insights.

  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to visually and creatively present data, insights, recommendations, and solutions in presentation formats.

  • Work well within a collaborative yet decentralized organization.

  • Willing to “walk the talk”: engaging in ongoing personal transformation, matching what we ask of our clients.

Position Logistics

This remote position is available immediately and reports to an FMG Leading Principal or Director. Travel is required to client locations throughout the US, as well as for other firm meetings/events.
