Role Summary

The full-time Operations Associate, Client Engagement, is an integral member of FMG Leading’s Client Engagement Team. This role supports the execution of client projects and manages operational details from project initiation to completion. The Operations Associate ensures smooth project delivery, maintains key timelines, and handles essential coordination to meet client and organizational expectations. Strong project management skills and proficiency in Excel are required, as well as the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Project Management

  • Provide operational support for client engagement activities, managing projects from inception through final delivery.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of project milestones, tracking deliverables, and maintaining key project documents.

  • Coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial scoping and planning to execution and wrap-up.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, update stakeholders on progress, and address any issues that may impact timelines or quality.

  • Manage communication between internal teams and clients to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

  • Utilize Excel and project management tools to track progress, monitor budgets, and report on key metrics.

 

2.       Scope of Work Development & Contract Management

  • Assist in the development and management scopes of work for external clients and partners, ensuring all project requirements, deliverables, and timelines are clearly defined and documented.

  • Oversee contract project management, ensuring that agreements, external support, and resource allocations align with project goals.

  • Collaborate with external resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution of contracted services and provide ongoing support for project changes or additional needs.

 

3.       Statement of Work Development and Management

  • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with Client Engagement Leads, outlining project goals, deliverables, timelines, investment, and client responsibilities.

  • Monitor and manage SOW execution, ensuring that external resources and partners fulfill their obligations in alignment with client expectations and project goals.

  • Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on the progress of contract deliverables and any necessary adjustments to the SOW.

 

4.       Operational Support

  • Assist in operational processes to ensure the effective management of client engagements.

  • Help gather business requirements, understand client needs, and support the creation of tailored solutions.

  • Work closely with internal team members to ensure project delivery meets client expectations and FMG Leading’s standards.

  • Maintain accurate data in internal systems for reporting and analysis, supporting resource planning and forecasting.

 

5.       Process Improvement & Client Expansion

  • Identify areas for process improvement within client engagements and recommend adjustments to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

  • Assist in recognizing opportunities to expand client services by identifying potential needs and offering additional support solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between client needs and FMG Leading's capabilities.

     

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 -5  years of work experience in project management, operations, or client engagement roles. Healthcare experience is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze data, generate reports, and track project metrics.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively convey project updates and collaborate with team members.

  • Experience in both scope and statement of work development, as well as contract management for external resources.

  • Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering high-quality client service.

  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and client needs.

  • Experience with project management tools and software, including HubSpot, is preferred.
