Alisha brings nearly a decade of experience in enterprise communications where she has served as a trusted communications business partner and advisor to C-suite leaders within life science, electronics, and specialty chemical organizations.

With a unique ability to translate an organization's vision and strategy into powerful stories and programs, Alisha works with executive teams to create multi-pronged strategies that engage employees, elevate their brand, and drive transformation. She has extensive experience leading high-stakes communication and culture initiatives including M&A integrations, crisis communications, organizational restructuring, brand and executive positioning, culture change efforts, and top leader meetings.

Alisha earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from Eastern University, and a M.A. in Communication Studies from West Chester University.

EXPERIENCE

Alisha Davis is a Senior Consultant with FMG Leading, a team of advisors that helps clients create world-class organizations at the intersection of business strategy and human capital performance. She brings nearly a decade of experience in enterprise communications where she has served as a trusted communications business partner and advisor to C-suite leaders within life science, electronics, and specialty chemical organizations.

With a unique ability to translate an organization's vision and strategy into powerful stories and programs, Alisha works with executive teams to create multi-pronged strategies that engage employees, elevate their brand, and drive transformation. Alisha also works with individual leaders, helping them find their unique voice so they can use the full power of their platform to educate, engage, and empower audiences at all levels.

Alisha has shaped and led communications functions at the regional, business unit, and enterprise levels. In addition to providing communication strategy counsel and key message development, Alisha has extensive experience leading high-stakes communication and culture initiatives including M&A integrations, crisis communications, organizational restructuring, brand and executive positioning, culture change efforts, and top leader meetings.

Most recently, Alisha served as Head of Employee Experience Communications at Celanese, a global specialty chemicals organization, where she drove award-winning employee communications efforts to and through an $11 billion acquisition. Prior to Celanese, Alisha served as a Consultant with FMG Leading where she partnered with a range of notable clients including SCAN Group, ImmunoTek, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Alisha also spent six years at multi-national science and technology company, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, where she held several leadership roles managing communications for various functions across their Electronics and Life Sciences sectors, in the United States and Europe.

ACADEMIC AFFILIATIONS

Alisha earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from Eastern University, and a M.A. in Communication Studies from West Chester University. She is nearing completion of an M.S. in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on Executive Coaching.

PERSONAL

Alisha lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and two dogs, Schmidt and Moe. She is an avid traveler and dedicates as much time as possible to exploring new cities and immersing herself in new cultures alongside her husband, family, and friends.
