A self-proclaimed life-long learner, Colin brings to FMG Leading a robust sales background and a unique combination of creative thinking and analytical skills. She is focused on enhancing sales processes and operational efficiencies as a means of driving organizational growth.

 Colin earned a BFA in Creative Writing, with dual minors in Architecture and Art History, from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. She holds an MBA in Risk Management from Walden University.

EXPERIENCE

Colin Cavanaugh-Johnston is a Senior Sales Operations Associate at FMG Leading, a team of advisors that creates world-class organizations at the intersection of humanity and high performance. With experience working alongside Fortune 500 and large privately held companies, she helps enhance the firm’s sales function, bringing FMG Leading’s advisory expertise to a broader range of clients.

Keeping a sharp eye on sales deliverables, Colin helps enhance sales processes and organizational efficiencies as a means of supporting the organization’s growth objectives. She is exceptionally skilled at CRM implementation, enhancement, and administration, as well as sales support and enablement in the form of training, account management, and event management.

Previously, Colin worked as a Proposal Manager at a private leadership development and coaching consulting firm. She also served as a Sales Operations Analyst at a clinical research organization, where she focused on data quality and analysis within Salesforce; change management for new systems and process implementations; bookings and revenue forecasting/planning; sales training and development; and commercial event planning.

ACADEMIC AFFILIATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Colin earned a BFA in Creative Writing, with dual minors in Architecture and Art History, from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. She also holds an MBA in Risk Management from Walden University and a certification in Organizational Learning and Development from HRCI. In addition, Colin has pursued continued education and university coursework in graphic design and furniture design. She is a member of the Liberty Chapter of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.

PERSONAL

A New England native, Colin resides in Pittsburgh with her husband, two elementary-aged children, two dogs, a cat, and three fish. When not working, she is typically hosting gatherings, coaching soccer, running, fixing something or building/refinishing something around the home, cooking, gardening, or crafting. She loves to travel to both beach and cultural destinations, with many trips planned in the coming years.
