Jen Nguyen is a Senior Consultant at FMG Leading, a team of advisors that creates world-class organizations at the intersection of humanity and high performance. A sought-after executive leadership coach, facilitator, and instructional design expert, Jen brings transformation to leaders and organizations who seek coaching and training as a way to forge an inclusive culture where all employees are empowered to thrive. She specializes in increasing effectiveness and retention of highly effective leaders as they face significant challenges.

Jen has worked with executives and teams in HR, executive search, government, law, education, tech, and finance. She has a reputation for being a grounded, trusted coach and facilitator who offers clients a unique blend of traditional and innovative approaches that help them align their decisions to their values, maintain emotional equanimity, and be the leader they were created to be. Her areas of expertise include diversity, equity, and inclusion, organizational culture, change management, and talent strategies.    

Prior to joining FMG Leading, Jen served in executive roles overseeing the hiring, supervision, and development of principals, managing high level complaints, personnel investigations, and major disciplinary issues. She has led major change initiatives including centralizing services across functional lines and socializing the redesign of organizational structure. She is also an experienced program designer and trainer with deep expertise in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Jen has also held Senior Development roles at Aspire Public Schools in California, where she served as Director of Bay Area Instructional Coaching, and Oakland Unified School District in Oakland, California, where she led teacher development via coaching and using culturally relevant instructional practices for classroom management and to develop positive relationships with students.
