A leadership coach and consultant with nearly 20 years of experience, Jeremy is passionate about supporting the development of healthy leaders, teams, and organizations.

Jeremy has focused his career on cultivating the humanity of leadership and performance, with special attunement to emotional and psychological health. He specializes in working with emerging leaders and rising managers. Jeremy’s approach to working with both leaders and teams is grounded in his knowledge of nervous system regulation, trauma informed care, and neuroscience. These areas of understanding allow Jeremy to foster a safe space for leaders to ask hard questions, solicit feedback, and grow.

Jeremy earned his undergraduate degree in English Literature from San Diego State University, and his master’s degree in Transformational Leadership from Bethel Seminary, a branch of Bethel University.

EXPERIENCE

Jeremy is a Senior Consultant at FMG Leading, a team of advisors that helps clients create world-class organizations at the intersection of business strategy and human capital performance.  A leadership coach and consultant with nearly 20 years of experience, Jeremy is passionate about supporting the development of healthy leaders, teams, and organizations.

Jeremy has focused his career on cultivating the humanity of leadership and performance, with special attunement to emotional and psychological health. He specializes in working with emerging leaders and rising managers. Jeremy’s approach to working with both leaders and teams is grounded in his knowledge of nervous system regulation, trauma informed care, and neuroscience. These areas of understanding allow Jeremy to foster a safe space for leaders to ask hard questions, solicit feedback, and grow.

Before joining FMG Leading, Jeremy was the owner/founder of JDR Coaching + Consulting. His work spanned a broad range of industries, with a particular interest working with middle managers. Prior to that, Jeremy served as the Vice President of Programs at the San Diego Rescue Mission where he drove large scale change initiatives and improved quality of care through the implementation of a shared treatment model known as “trauma informed care”.

Jeremy has a unique ability to build trust with clients and remain grounded amid challenging and rapidly changing environments. He provides space and structure for clients to articulate their goals, shape effective strategies, and act, thus empowering clients and their teams to own the process along the way. Jeremy works to help clients to reframe the challenges they face in ways that drive growth and fuel momentum.

ACADEMIC AFFILIATION

Jeremy earned his undergraduate degree in English Literature from San Diego State University, and his master’s degree in Transformational Leadership from Bethel Seminary, a branch of Bethel University. Jeremy’s coaching certification is from the NeuroLeadership Institute.

PERSONAL

Jeremy lives in San Diego, California with his wife, three children, and 2 dogs. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, reading, kayaking, and tending to the wounds that are the collateral damage of being a San Diego sports fan.
