Dr. Joshua Kuehler is a Senior Manager at FMG Leading, a group of coaches, researchers, and educators that create world-class organizations at the intersection of humanity and high performance. He brings deep survey measurement, statistical analysis, and analytics expertise to the firm. Whether conducting a job analysis, a psychometric evaluation of a survey, or analyzing survey results, Dr. Kuehler enjoys not only sifting through data, but also working with people to obtain and interpret the key data points that drive positive change. Since serving as a teaching assistant for a graduate level statistics course, Dr. Kuehler has used his statistical know-how to explain complex analyses and results in an easy to understand manner. He keeps his statistical edge by tutoring statistics students of various levels from entry-level through doctoral students. This has helped him hone his ability to explain not only the concepts but also the results to those who are uncomfortable or new to statistics. Dr. Kuehler has designed various employee surveys including employee engagement, 360° assessment, and training needs assessment. He has led efforts in the design of survey instruments, the evaluation of instruments’ reliability and validity, and reporting survey results to leaders.

The design, administration, and interpretation of quantitative psychological evaluations, known as psychometrics’, is a strong suit for Dr. Kuehler. He has developed diagnostic tests with clients that help determine proficiency levels across competencies, resulting in targeted training solutions. Additionally, he has psychometrically reviewed training evaluations to determine question-category placement, category and survey reliability, and content validity.
