Will brings over 20 years of experience leading projects that drive profitable growth and enhance operational efficiency for healthcare-focused investors and management teams.

Over the course of his career, Will has led human capital due diligence during buyout transactions, M&A integrations, and organic growth initiatives for public and private companies.  He brings technical expertise in strategic planning, commercial effectiveness, organizational design, and business model transformation. Will most recently served as Managing Director, Head of Transformation at Tilia Holdings, a Chicago based private equity firm making control investments in the food supply chain. Will was a member of the leadership team at Tilia and was responsible for helping the firm acquire, grow, and exit high quality assets.

Will earned his Master of Business Administration from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee.

EXPERIENCE

Will Busch, III serves as President for FMG Leading, an advisory firm helping investors, payers, and providers drive sustainable outcomes within the healthcare ecosystem. Will brings over 20 years of experience leading projects that drive profitable growth and enhance operational efficiency for healthcare-focused investors and management teams.

Will most recently served as Managing Director, Head of Transformation at Tilia Holdings, a Chicago based private equity firm making control investments in the food supply chain. Will was a member of the leadership team at Tilia and was responsible for helping the firm acquire, grow, and exit high quality assets. During his tenure at Tilia, Will implemented portfolio-wide processes to drive organizational performance and was directly involved in the deployment of over $90 million in capital.

Prior to joining FMG Leading, Will held a variety of executive consulting roles at Korn Ferry and Gallup, where he developed a unique approach to business transformation. Over the course of his career, Will has led human capital due diligence during buyout transactions, M&A integrations, and organic growth initiatives for public and private companies. Will’s past clients include investment firms, hospital systems, medical device manufacturers, and multi-site services organizations. Will brings technical expertise in strategic planning, commercial effectiveness, organizational design, and business model transformation.

Will currently serves on the board of Ever Fresh Fruit Company, a Tilia portfolio company based in Boring, Oregon. Will is also an active board member of The Gray Matter Experience, a Chicago based non-profit focused on building the next generation of black entrepreneurs and change makers.

PERSONAL

Will lives in Wilmette, Illinois with his wife and their three children. He enjoys studying complex systems, fitness challenges, competing in backyard sporting events and working on service projects that drive economic advancement for underserved communities.
